Brooks is again a proud supporter of the National Breast Cancer Foundation for 2008; together we can make a difference.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among Australian women; more than 13,000 new cases are expected within the next year. In the past decade, mortality rates from breast cancer have fallen by 22%. In that time, the National Breast Cancer Foundation has awarded more than $22 million to breast cancer research. Brooks is working together with NBCF to help in the fight against Breast Cancer.
Brooks is also a proud sponsor of the Annual Mother’s Day Classic; which in 2007 raised $800,000 for Breast Cancer Research and takes their total of money raised to over $2.5 million dollars since 1998. The Brooks team will be attending the events in Melbourne, Sydney, Parramatta, Canberra, Hobart, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
